In case you are worried about landing - with the large parachutes we own, there will not be a great impact. You will safe all the time.

Free-fall will last up to 40 seconds only (120 miles per our, or 200 feet per second), after the parachute opens, you will get to enjoy up to 6 minutes of watching the beautiful scenery that surrounds you. The jump itself takes place at about 10,500 feet above the ground. And you will love every minute of this experience. Also, Skydiving Utah will provide you w ith jumpsuit and goggles.

It is important for everyone to provide us with your ID which proves you are over 18. Parents are
not able to sign for an underage person. Like we mentioned above, safety is our priority.

There are many places to go skydiving in Utah. It's mountainous scenery makes for an exciting jump. Whether you are coming to Utah to skydive, or it's something new you'd like to try while you're visiting the state, make sure to come see us at Skydive the Wasatch. We are the newest skydiving center in Utah, and the closest place to Salt Lake City. We're only an hour from Salt Lake City, and half an hour away from Provo/Orem/Spanish Fork. We are located in Nephi, UT, on the beautiful Wasatch Front, providing an amazing view of Mt. Nebo during your skydive.
 

We value experienced jumpers and first timers alike. If it's your first jump, we'll take you out on a tandem dive. We offer an Accelerated Free Fall Course, Levels 1 to 5 Skydive if you'd like to get licensed. After taking the AFF check dive, you can jump on your own and start to work towards your A License. If you're already licensed, then you'll need to bring your United States Parachute Association (USPA) license and logbook with you to jump with us. Our prices for experienced jumpers are much lower than if it's your first skydive. In fact, our prices for skydiving are some of the lowest in Utah. Our prices are consistent for the whole week, and we offer discounts for military personnel and students who can show ID.

  Here at Skydive the Wasatch, we take several precautions to ensure your safety. Our instructors have taken extensive training, and are certified with the USPA. They all have at least 1000 jumps under their belts. We follow all Federal Aviation Administration rules and requirements, and our parachutes are inspected every 180 days whether they're used or not. One of the FAA requirements states that we must use a dual-parachute system, so there is a main parachute and a reserve one. In case a skydiver can't open their chute for whatever reason, our parachutes have a computerized Automatic Activation Device that will automatically open the parachute for them.

We also have professional videographers, so you can take home a Blue Ray or DVD copy of your jump. You should always call us before coming out, to see if there's a delay due to the weather.
